Qatar’s Cultural Village Foundation, Katara, has opened a new Pakistani Corner. The space forms part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Legacy Exhibition. It highlights Pakistan’s major role in manufacturing official match balls. Katara General Manager Dr Khalid Ibrahim Al Sulaiti attended the inauguration ceremony. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar, Muhammad Aamer, also joined the event. The corner showcases TRIONDA, the official match ball of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Ambassador Aamer said Sialkot leads the world in football manufacturing. The Pakistani city produces almost 70 percent of the world’s footballs. This includes official match balls used at several FIFA World Cups. TRIONDA represents the latest example of this longstanding craftsmanship. The Ambassador described the industry as built on precision and innovation. He noted its evolution from manual work to advanced global technology.

The Ambassador said the exhibition carries more than sporting significance. It also delivers a cultural message about Pakistan’s global contributions. He called it a symbol of Pakistan’s influential role in football. The initiative strengthens cultural exchange between Qatar and Pakistan. Both countries continue building cooperation across sport and culture.

The Pakistani Corner will remain part of Katara’s permanent exhibition space near Katara Beach. Visitors can learn about the journey from raw materials to finished balls. The display connects craftsmanship with Qatar’s own World Cup legacy. This latest addition further deepens ties between the two nations. It stands as a lasting tribute to Pakistan’s football industry.
